As it is Mental Health Awareness Week and we have been getting some questions about the alternative to the EAP Complex, we thought it would be a good time to fill you in on the key features of our Magnesium Phospholipid Complex. Unfortunately, we have had to say goodbye to EAP Complex, which was a combination of magnesium and phospholipids. However, we are sure that after discovering the benefits of Magnesium Phospholipid Complex, you will agree it is the perfect substitute.
Phospholipids are found in a number of foods, including eggs, soybeans, organ meats, lean meats, fish, and shellfish. In the body, they are the main component of all cell membranes, as well as nervous tissue, and help to create a barrier around the cell, thereby controlling what goes in and out of the cell. They also help to provide structure and regulate cell processes. Common phospholipids include phosphatidylserine, phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine. A lot of people might not be getting adequate amounts of phospholipids in their diet, but especially people on vegan and vegetarian diets.
With our EAP Complex having been recently discontinued, now would be the best time to try this product out for yourself. Both provide great levels of phospholipids (just different types), are well absorbed, and provide 100mg of magnesium per capsule. Your body can also convert phosphatidylserine into phosphatidylethanolamine (found in EAP Complex), so you’re getting the best of both worlds.
Magnesium Phospholipid Complex is a great addition if you have a busy lifestyle and are often stressed and, although it is a superb stand-alone product, you can also combine it with other supplements for more therapeutic benefits.
