BioCare was founded 18 years ago by practitioners and scientists. The range was originally created to offer practitioners high quality and scientifically sound formulations made with carefully selected, premium raw materials.
Originally BioCare was available to practitioners but as the popularity of the range has grown it has become more widely used by healthfood retailers and members of the public.
Rationale for product range and formulations.
The BioCare range offers everything from vitamins and minerals to specialized combinations, antioxidants, fatty acids and probiotics; with strong emphasis on bio-availability and maximum absorption. All BioCare formulations are made with the intolerant individual in mind.
Why is the BioCare range different?
From the very beginning we have developed many new and exciting products. Our reputation has been built upon our innovative product development, the quality of our raw materials, our specialized manufacturing techniques and our customer service.
Many of the manufacturing processes and technologies we use enhance the bio-availability of our formulations and are unique to us following the result of years of product research and development. These techniques include freeze drying, micellisation, vacuum packing and DuoCaps.
BioCare’s micellisation process represents a real breakthrough in supplementation, by providing a means by which nutrients can be taken in a form which ensures maximum absorption and bio-availability of the ingredients. The unique manufacturing process locks microscopically small droplets of the nutrient into a “micelle” which is coated with a dry oligosaccharide powder. Micelles are droplets which are small enough to pass through the mucosal barrier of the gastrointestinal tract therefore dramatically improving absorption.
DuoCaps™ are a world first, with a global exclusive licence to BioCare Limited for nutraceuticals and natural healthcare products by MW Encap Limited. DuoCaps™ are a new encapsulating process that utilises capsule in capsule technology to provide BioCare with the ability to manufacture products as a single dietary supplement, that might otherwise not be stable or suitable when mixed together in standard tablets or capsules. FLORAGUARD™ is the first BioCare product to utilise the exclusive DuoCap™ encapsulation process.
